Get Involved

Become part of the St Stephen’s community

Here are three ways to connect more deeply with our community:
1. Visit Us

Come to a Sunday Service

We love having people of all ages at our Services.  Our services include worship and space to grapple with timeless truths from the Bible in the beauty of our stone building.  They also include a time to pray and meet with others socially in a COVID safe way.

2. Get to know us

Welcome Lunch

One of the best ways to get to know St Stephen’s well is by coming to a ‘Welcome Lunch’. At the lunch you will meet a few other newcomers, a few regulars and the staff team.

These lunches are great opportunities to find out about St Stephen’s and ask any question you have.

3. Get Involved

Serve

‘I did not come to be served but to serve and give my life as a ransom for many’ – Jesus

We like giving people the opportunity to serve because we believe it is at the heart of the Christian life. If you would like to serve in our community you can indicate your interest under any of the following options:

Morning Teas, Supper, Food Hospitality

Join a team which provides morning teas/ supper for our various functions throughout the year. The team is large and participation is based upon your availability.

Music Teams

Join a team of musicians who help us sing great truths and enjoy God each week.  We welcome all levels of musicianship and provide training.

Sunday Service Teams

Join a team who makes our Sunday Services happen. Some help with setup and pack up responsibilities, others prepare elements of our services while others help welcome people into the building.

Community Care Ministries

Join the team who help us care for the vulnerable, weak and lonely in our community and the surrounding suburbs.
