Sunday Kids Program

On Sunday mornings we run a groups for infants and primary school aged children.

We start with parents in the Morning Service, then the children move out to their group. During this time we play games, do some craft activities and learn from the Bible. The group is taught by a dedicated bunch of volunteers and parents who love Jesus and love children. The children are given their own special morning tea.

Tuesday morning

Playtime

‘Playtime’ at St Stephen’s Church is a playgroup for 0 to 5-year-old children and their carers. It’s held on Tuesday mornings during school terms, 9:30am-11:30am.

We aim to provide fantastic resources and a fun, friendly atmosphere where the carers and children can relax. Playtime facilities include a large indoor hall with plenty of toys, a sheltered veranda and a lovely fenced grass area with a cubby house and slippery dip.

Tuesday Playtime is made up of a half hour of singing, dancing, Bible stories and fun with percussion instruments, boomwhackers, parachute, and dancing scarves. The program is designed to help children develop language skills, cognitive concepts, and to foster a love of music. Morning tea and informal play runs from 10:00am -11:30am. Due to COVID restrictions booking is required. Email us below.
